Greetings and welcome to the Carroll County Chamber
of Commerce web-site. On behalf of our chamber staff and board of directors, we appreciate
your interest in our community.
Carroll County is a vibrant and growing county located in northwest Georgia, USA. We are
uniquely situated between Atlanta, Georgia (1 hour, east) and Birmingham, Alabama (2 hours,
west) with Interstate 20 running through the northern part of our county. Carroll County
enjoys the amenities of Atlanta but maintains a real sense of local community. We also
benefit from a large regional airport, a growing state university with over 10,600 students,
a comprehensive technical college, and strong public and private schools.
Carroll County is a regional economic center with seven municipalities and a pro-business
county government. We have a population of slightly over 107,000 and a retail and employment
draw of approximately 600,000 and employment of over 800,000. Carroll County has a diverse and growing industrial base and
retail and service sectors continue to grow rapidly. Our county is comprised of business
leaders, partners, and supporters who are committed to creating a vibrant community in which
to live, work, and play. We call it the “Dynamic Balance”. Along with our sister organization,
Carroll Tomorrow, our Chamber helps fulfill the serious commitment of planned economic and
community development encouraged by the citizens of this community.
The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce has been the economic engine in this community
for the past fifty-three years. Today, the Chamber enjoys the success of an organization with
800+ members, an active board of directors, and a talented staff. The Chamber offers
a variety of activities, networking events, and seminars geared toward serving the needs
of the membership and this community. The Chamber executes the annual plan through a
committee structure with 15 standing committees and other ad hoc committees as needed.
Active volunteers and strong leadership are trademarks of this Chamber and this outstanding
community.
