Meets the first Thursday of each month
Anita Jones, chair

Goal: To encourage life-long learning and support the development of a highly trained and educated workforce

Actions:

  • Create strategies to forge partnerships and working relationships between the business and education communities
  • Support activities such as "Job Shadow Day", etc.
  • Implement forum for community leaders, business leaders and educational leaders to meet and dialogue
  • Support initiaitives such as career pathways, dual enrollment, etc.
  • Support and generate teacher and student recognition/appreciation programs events such as Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) and STAR Student/ Teacher Program
  • Support the Carroll County Mentor Program
