Sertoma Anti-Drug Rally Every year Carroll County Sertoma, Bowdon Sertoma, and the Carrollton Evening Sertoma Club host an anti-drug rally for all of the fourth graders in Carroll County.  It generally falls in late October as the climax of Red Ribbon Week celebrations.  (This year’s rally will take place at the Tabernacle Baptist Church)  With the help of the Sheriff’s Department and Tanner Health System, we try to give the 1,400+ students honest and age-appropriate information that will help them resist peer-pressure and avoid the pitfalls of drug, alcohol, and tobacco addiction.  And it has to be fun, too.  Some have described the program as a “mini-rock concert for preteens.”
